Although the new year doesn't actually motivate me to follow through with my resolutions, I always like putting it out into the universe because you never know.
- Focus deeply on ideas. Over time, I grew lethargic towards goals, hobbies, or interests. I know the reason behind it, so now that I am gaining back my strength, I hope to use that energy to focus on the ideas that I used to loved. Like embodying the idea of an aspiring M.D. and revisiting musical hobbies.
- Write in a journal. I stopped writing exactly 8 months ago. Partly because I was busy but also because it was replaced by social media. I miss the inconvenience (yes) of writing because it gave me time to introspect before it spilled out of me.
- Do healthy things. This includes eating better, exercising and keeping a positive outlook. You see, I have this yoga mat that has graduated with me through uni until now. It was handy for taking study breaks, when I told myself I'd do a little exercise but actually had short naps; then I moved home and now it's sitting in my room, rolled and upright, serving as a temporary hat rack... I reckon it's time to put it to actual use.
- Be Bold. Corny as this sounds, I need to do exactly that. I'm good at putting up fronts when I need to but majority of my decisions are low-risk because I like being in my safety zone. But I decided in order for #1 to follow through, I would have to be #4.
Wow! I like the new layout. I like the minimalist look. Good luck on all your goals! I also want to try and do healthier things but I never seem to follow through aha.
